He's definitely most versatile player in the league I'll give him that

I'll admit I get tired of seeing this but I'm not going to knock him just ask an honest question.

Based on quarterbacks starting for NFL teams right now, which ones would you replace with taysom, besides the saints cause we know if we had Joe Montana, tom Brady and drew Brees on roster some of you would start taysom

Cooper Rush - is a backup starting for injury

I would prefer Taysom over Cousins, Carr, Young, Watson, Winston, Fields, Williams, Maye, Daniels, Jones, Levis, Minshew, Nix, Richardson, Flacco, Love, Bradford, Purdy, Smith, and Lawrence.

I would likely not start him over Mahomes, Rodgers, Murray, Dak (if healthy), Jackson, Allen, Goff, Stafford, Hurts, Stroud, Burrow, or Mayfield.

So you’d prefer a 35 year old multi tooled, often injured guy to get 8-10 touches a game than have a quarterback in his early to mid 20s like Purdy, Love, Maye that you can likely build a franchise around?

Because that’s crazy enough.

If you want him to play qb over these guys that’s even wilder as almost everyone on that list can play qb significantly better than Taysom Hill over long stretches.

He’s a fun player and easy to like and root for but is the definition of gadget player.

Watch the locker room post game videos. Dude is always bruised and beaten. I assume most guys are but you can really tell on him.

No they haven't. He is just now at 34 years old being used how he should have been since the beginning. In my opinion he has the talent to have been a hall of fame level player without an official position.

He has 44 touchdowns and 11 throwing touchdowns. I would like to see that stat against anyone else in the league that only gets to play limited downs.

Also how many other players can play all the positions he plays.

He probably saves a roster spots by being o versitile.

What percentage of offensive plays is he on the field?

If he would play worrying about getting injured what would be his stats?

I like his 1970's playing mentality.

He is a great get. Being on a winning team is very important. Small market teams get great exposure when they win.

There's one huge difference between all those listed and Taysom. They have all played quaterback whole games for multiple games or seasons.

So you are essentially making a 34 year old athlete, who played quaterback in college, your starting quaterback. The entire league has seen what he is and what he is good at. Has anyone came to him or the saints and said man we really want this guy to even compete for our quarterback position, we will do this or that to make it happen? Not that I'm aware of. The only people that think he can be a starting quarterback are some challenged saints fans and maybe some mormons in Utah

Taysom played QB full time for a handful of games in 2020 and 2021. Not saying Taysom would now make for a solid fulltime QB.....just that you're wrong.

Congratulations you proved me both wrong and right in your response. So he played full time for a handful of games and his biggest cheerleader in the saints organization, Sean Payton, didn't see enough to give him the starting job

The last resort of someone with no argument, name calling. Grow up.

What did I say that was not factual? After Brees left didn't jameis start the season as the starter and not taysom?

No, dinkus. It’s an immediate reaction to you being stupid.

Go back to my first page and think really hard about the fact that I wasn’t arguing against your overall point. It should be obvious that I was, in fact, agreeing with your overall point and just pointed out that your argument was incorrect.
