re: Taysom Hill: Role isn’t necessarily what I want, but it’s best for the team

Ooooo I'll do Taysom before you do.
As QB 4 year career stats:
2,025 yards
8 TD
8 Int
As RB/Recv
250 touched
1,600 yards
23 TD
9 Fum
All for around 25 million so far.
I'm not sure Taysom should be complaining about his job.

I really don't get it. Only real thing i could see people gettung upset about is his contract.

Ton of production. Nearly won us the vikings game. Is the heart and soul of our team on the field for few years. Has done anything and nearly everything possible on the football team for our team. Has always been team first and made every sacrifice possible. No idea what complaining you think taysom is doing. Some mild honesty in answers are refreshing. Plays fricking 14 positions. GO frick yourself goat. Meanwhile, your boy was hurt last year, hurt again this year, and your jerk off to :14 instagramy attention whoring videos.

No it wasn’t. It was thrown to where only Hill could catch. Pay attention to his hands and body positioning, or lack thereof

That’s not a video. You watch the video, particularly the overhead angle.
And you can be “hung out to dry” on any play where a defender decides to come out of his cleats for a helmet to helmet shot chalka

At least he was able to admit something Tim Tebow could not. He's a football player and there's nothing wrong with that and there's a real role for it if you embrace it. It's actually quite the honor and it beats the hell out of doing social media or bagging groceries for pennies on the dollar.

Williams cost the Saintd 2 playoff games. He is grossly over rated.

He cost us the guy who cost us an NFC Championship berth and wiped out our legendary 17-0 2nd half on the road comeback against the Vikings?
Same guy who decided to escort Pollard 50 yards for a TD last year in that Cowboys game, which is honestly what made that game impossible to win while our QB was battling with a broken finger?
Marcus got better throughout his stint, but Taysom did not cost us Marcus Williams. If you want to blame that on anyone. Blame Project Peat and blame him for losing us an actual stud player, in Trey Hendrickson. We replaced Marcus with Tyrann and Maye. In reality, we probably could’ve kept Marcus if we absolutely wanted to.

Wil Lutz has a higher cap than taysom this year. Be gone now.

Chad's pathetic Taysom shitposting bring it on more than anything.

And let’s be honest. For a guy who is 7-2 as a QB and has won us other games due to production as Wildcat QB, Tight End, Special Teams, Etc.
Guy deserved to be paid a bit of money. Number 1 he contributes to winning in so many damn ways. Number 2, that guys mental and physical workload playing all of the key positions he did, was truly amazing.
He deserved to get compensated for that and him getting compensated, cost us exactly zero players given Mickey Loomis’s skilled cap maneuvering.

quote:No, he didn't, he was up and down, wildly inconsistent. I don't understand people saying he was a good safety because he wasn't a good safety. He'll always be remembered for missing an easy routine tackle that could have sent the Saints to the NFCCG.
Marcus got better throughout his stint,

I feel like he got better. But personally I’m not one of those fans that feels gutted and devastated that we didn’t pay him $16M a year to stick around and be good a lot of the time, but still have the potential fatal error of just not being able to tackle in certain situations.
I think some people also forget the game where we had San Fran at 4th and 2, Jimmy G throws it to Kittle at the sticks and Marcus Williams took a ride on his back for 40 yards into chip shot field goal range and we lost a very crucial game as a result.

Look, I'm not knockin the guy, 3Piece, but I just never saw the type of improvement in him that you would expect from a young player. And we all were pulling for him after that Minnesota fiasco, but it never came because you still saw him doing bone-headed arse plays down the road in his career. He's just a bad open-field tackler and has never learned how to do it properly. Smh I saw one play, I can't remember if it was last season or the season before, but he was badly out of place on the play, badly beaten. He is bad at getting over to help a beaten CB, he's just not a good FS and maybe he'll improve with some other team, who knows. I wish they could have kept that other safety though, the Ohio State safety, I forget his name.
yeah, I remember that, Kittles dragged him down-the-field like a high school kid was on his back, I mean that's embarrassing. But I remember Kittles just manhandling most of the secondary, pushing CJ Gardner down to the ground with a stiff arm while running roughshod through the secondary.

I just hope he is listed as a TE for fantasy and not a QB.
