Has anyone sat lower endzone under the overhang (section 130) before? Are viewing angles not ideal?

Seems like it wouldn't be worth spending big money on a CFP championship ticket.

A few times. When they are on your side in the red zone it's not bad but once they past the 20 or 30 going away you have to watch the TV. I didn't care for those seats.

So does vivid seats, and many other websites. Sometimes it is nice to hear from an actual person though

Actually, everything from row 20 on down is a good seat ! Any higher and the 'cave' effect kicks in...lol

I sat in 104, similar section, for the Vikings game. Didn’t care for them. Spent most of the game watching on TV in the dome

I would rather sit in the terrace end zone. No lie. IMO, probably the worst seats in the dome.

I remember when the Superdome first opened my Saints season tickets were on row 4 of that section. When the action is on your side of the field they are great. When the game moves to the other side you can't see a thing. The next year we moved above there to the lodge which we like much better.

My Saints season tickets are in a similar section to 130. It’s about row 12-14 where the Loge deck ends above your head in the End Zone sections. (If you were to look straight up when seated.) Once you get up to Row 20 or so it starts to get really tunnel-y under the Loge deck’s overhang.

If the price is close on a Row 14 vs a Row 22 ticket, take the Row 14 all day.

I HATE being under the overhang. Endzone or deep row sidelines.

I am very conscious now about buying any tickets in the Superdome after getting stuck under there in the endzone many years ago for LSU - Notre Dame Sugar bowl game.

It’s not just the view and wide screen effect. To me, it just sucks being under the overhang and not getting the full open Superdome feel. You feel trapped and don’t get the full feel and energy.

Agree. I sat here before and bought tix in the terrace at midfield for the national championship and would much rather sit there than in these seats. Have Saints season tickets in 640 at midfield behind Saints bench and love those seats. Its a good seat no matter where the ball is on the field
