Guys that we may be able to get on decent deals as FA wears on they don't have deals they were looking for. Kind of like Okafor last year. A lot of guys that failed to produce last year that may just need a change of scenery or another chance, and if they don't work out, no big deal.

Terrelle Pryor WR
Mike Wallace WR
Jordan Matthews WR
Eric Decker WR
Jonathan Hankins DT
Eric Ebron TE
Bennie Logan DT
Cameron Fleming OT
Pernell McPhee DE/LB
Kony Ealy DE

There's definitely still some guys that can help us round out the roster and we may even be able to strike gold with one.

Add Brice butler.
Dude is strong and fast if take him over Coleman.
He will cost more but think he could break out here.
And I don't know why they haven't set up a visit with McPhee.
14 sacks over 3 years with him hurt most of the time lol.

Jordan Matthews would seem like the ideal WR we would target. He has some injury history but not overwhelming enough to not sign him imo. He was a beast in the slot for Philly for 3 years and exactly what this offense needs. Plus he's bigger and faster than Snead so he seems like the better option if healthy.

I really like Hankins, McPhee, Jordan Matthews and Bennie Logan. We can prob get one of Hankins or Logan plus Matthews and McPhee for the price of Suh

Speaking of FAs, some brought up Moncrief as a cheap option to kick the tires on.

More Compensation update: Jaguars' WR Donte Moncrief signed a one-year, $9.6 million, fully-guaranteed contract that also contains another $2 million in incentives.

Holy shite! $10 mil guaranteed and another $2 mil in incentives for one year.

Jags think they can win right now. With that defense and that new OL, I don't blame them.

Bortles needs to not frick it all up.

Jordan Matthews WR
I remember there was pre-draft talk back in 2014 linking Matthews and the Saints coaching staff. Supposedly they were high on him. He's still young; only 25. He's an Alabama kid.

On the down side, according to his draft profile he's a bit of a diva. Still, at the right price I think he has value at a position of need.

quote:

WEAKNESSES Could stand to bulk up his frame. Adequate line release. Fairly linear. Not a quick-twitch athlete. Does not show elite explosion to separate vertically. Lets some throws into his body and is not immune to concentration drops. Limited creativity and elusiveness after the catch. Can be moody and has some diva in him.

DRAFT PROJECTION Rounds 2-3

BOTTOM LINE Matthews is a tall, narrow-framed, West Coast possession receiver with soft hands, a professional approach and the versatility to line up inside or outside and become a solid No. 2 or No. 3. High-floor prospect.

WR Kendall Wright

I still don't get why there isn't more love for him. Slot guy who can be a high volume target. He is still young. He's not very tall, but the dude has had some awful Qb's throwing to him and had several coaches/ coordinators.

He would fill the Moore/Snead role perfectly.

eta: He's not the first round talent he was drafted as, but still could be very useful in this offense

If we could get Matthews and Ebron on the cheap, I would be all for it. I would like Hankins, but do not see him coming cheaply.

Ebron could really be a weapon for Drew. He's a tall, athletic TE that would be a good redzone target.

Only if he's cheap though...

Would love to grab Bennie Logan. Solid player.

Pryor is interesting. He is still learning the position but has a ton of talent.

Ebron is more of a WR that Jimmy Graham ever was. He is basically a big slot WR who isn't that good at that skill

We do need another WR in free agency especially considering -
