It’s vital that this pick hits given the guarantees coming.
You're such a fricking moron. Yeah, that $10 million OVER FOUR YEARS is gonna be a killer
Why do you think Foskey is still on the team? Because he's good? Of course not, it's because 2nd round picks are CHEAP. Please go away.

Spencer Rattler...showed absolutely nothing last year
That's absolutely false.

Quit reading after “Rattlesnake”. Fukin cringe!!

Wtf is this Rattlesnake nonsense? His name is Rattler. I am pretty sure they are going to let them compete in Training Camp and the better performer will start. The QB job is up for grabs and whoever takes it will start. With that being said it think Shough will win it ,but we will see.

LOL @ the fools acting like SR didn’t get a fair shake. How many games did he start? How much more fair does it get than handing him the ball and telling him to go in and see what he can do with your starters?
How many did he win?
Buncha excuse making fan boys.

He’s probably a low-key racist who wants Spencer Rattler to get the nod even though he showed absolutely nothing last year and won zero games.
These are the same people who can’t believe we didn’t draft Shedeur Sanders.
All of this……it’s also the same people who were Jameis fanboys.

I don’t remember seeing a whole lot out of Rattler, but anything’s possible I guess…

You must be one of those low-key racists that I referenced above.
If Tyler Shough throws more interceptions than touchdowns this year and wins zero games, will you be calling for him to get another chance in 2026?
Because that’s how Spencer Rattler performed in 2024, and you’re suggesting that he showed something good and deserves another chance.

The Saints didn't draft a player 40th overall to not play. I don't understand why some Saints fans can't comprehend this
Where was Foskey drafted? Asking for a friend

You are suggesting that they will have the same playbook, same coaching same players and same oline. I think Ratt will be better this season whomever wins the start. Looking forward to the battle this preseason. I think it will be close.

And that coaching staff isn't here anymore. Comparing a top 40 player with LB to QB is wild considering who the Saints had at LB when he was drafted

Why can’t you just say what you really mean?
You want rattler to start because he’s half black
Because let’s be honest. Rattler is garbage and has consistently underperformed his entire career

Its simple. The Saints will almost certainly be sitting on a top 5 pick in a QB rich 2026 draft. You need to find out what you have in Shough soon, or else you risk passing on a potential franchise QB next year.
We already know what we have in Rattler, and its NOT good enough.

Is it really smart though on a young QB who goes 0-10, 55.7 passer rating, 1,800 yards, 9 TDs, 18 INTs to toss him so early?

Rattler is not fricking Troy Aikman, and to suggest so is ignorant. Aikman showed more consistency and leadership qualities in college and his rookie season than Rattler has ever fricking showed. There is a reason that Rattler was a 5th round pick…….he has ALWAYS been inconsistent. South Carolina improved DRAMATICALLY the year after he left with largely the same team/staff.
I am not a really big Aikman fan, but this was disrespectful

Calm down hun. It was not comparing careers but a caution on giving up too early on young players. See Baun and Hendrickson etc..

You see me laughing Bud. I’m just saying that Rattler has never shown the whole package. Could he POSSIBLY develop…..of course, but I doubt it.
There are NUMEROUS stories of Shough being a good leader and he showed his ability to command a pro-style offense with Brohm. From all of the reports he is already even with Rattler……which pretty much tells you what you need to know.
Obviously Moore is more qualified than any of us to judge this. But IMO, I would want to give Shough a full season to really see what he has in him so he can determine if he needs to draft a QB next year.
