I don't know what stage I'm in. Maybe all of them at once. All I know is that I better not hear another word about "Katrina refs".

Depression. I'm not even a Saints fan. The NFL I grew to love is dead and gone.

I cannot accept that the NFL is a fair entity. Therefore, I probably need to find things to do on Sundays and forget watching something that is scripted and biased. I cannot tell what is real or an illusion when it comes to sports.

Acceptance.

Work came fast and furious Monday. Was time to move ahead and prioritize. It’s still disgusting but it’s finished.

To be honest, what’s the alternative? The result remains the same. This game has absolutely damaged my fandom though.

Beyond Angry - I don’t know about y’all but it’s hard for me to watch a NFL football game now.

Been a Saints fan since I was 5 or 6 and believe me, the last time I felt like this was when I decided to divorce my current ex-wife of 13 years.

The cheating in the nfl is rampant. Deflated balls for afc championship, jags got cheated last year, now this for the saints

Just change the name to NEFL “New England Football League”

I agree. This experience compounded with previous years has taught me the NFL will never let us have a shot at annual relevance. Go all out next year with Drew, frick it all. Once Drew is gone there will be no national sympathy for the franchise anyway.

I find myself looking for some type of closure. Last year stung but it was decided on that last play. I turn on media outlets, I even briefly watch NFL Network just to get some kind of reaction out of headquarters. Just tell us you fricked us so we can move on, it’s all I’m looking for.

It was anger immediately during the aftermath of the play. Then it was depression the rest of the game and the rest of Sunday. Yesterday it turned back to anger and I keep getting angrier and angrier. Probably not healthy. I will never be in denial, there will be no bargaining or acceptance. It will be anger and anger alone.
