Agreed. Despite the loss and SFP's post, I think his performance was better than all but three or four Bush games. Pretty good for a debut.

Shut up. The man did EVERY SINGLE OTHER thing right, and you still find something to bitch at?
I'll take him missing a block or two ALL DAY if he can play like this every game. Not every player is perfect. And besides, what blocks did he really even miss? I didn't notice anything glaring that set me off to say "WOW SPROLES SHOULD HAVE BLOCKED HIM!"

I was a Reggie fan, and when we first signed sproles and everyone was saying how be was gonna be a "Reggie +1" I was skeptical, but after tonight, holy hell, I'm so very pleased to have him in the black and gold. He's a game-changer and explosive, I love it. He was a bright spot in this loss. Also, Brees playing from behind, having to pass A LOT and having 0 interceptions also pleased me a great deal.

Sproles is clearly a valuable asset to this team. Not so sure he needs to be the pass protection back, but he needs to at least be comptent in that role. From what I saw he is. He's not perfect, but he can do it.

Crossed my mind as well. Hard not to give the ball to Ingram right there. If our line would have had any push and I mean, any push.
How close did Sproles come to scoring on that kickoff? I have not went back and watched it again and did not rewind at the time.
