Corbello, AMIRITEGUYS?!

There's no better kicker out there. I'm not worried.

Or have open tryouts for kicker, teams do it midseason all the time.

Go for it on every 4th down and try for 2 point conversions!

I'd take a big look at tynes or rackers. Hartley is far from automatic from under 40. Even his makes are usually tgrough the outer quarters of the uprights.

Morstead is the obvious answer.

He himself said his accuracy is terrible. He is not the answer.

I still want to see it.

Maybe when we're up in the 4th.

Who you gonna believe -- Morstead or my gut instinct?

Maybe draft a kicker? I may be wrong though

Can we make anything <50 4th down territory and let him kick anything >50? Seems like we'd do a better job.

listening to sean payton talk about it on wwl last night makes me appreciate what an incredible coach he is.

Kickers go through slumps. Referenced some big kicks he missed in 09 but talks about the game winner in the title game, and the 3 40+ yard kicks in the super bowl. The hardest thing to find is a kicker who has kicked and succeeded in the biggest spots before. With most kickers, that is an unknown.

Hartley gets overlooked because his field goals haven't lost a game for us in a while. With the exception of the first two games, the Saints either blew the other teams out, or the other team won in the end before a field goal could be even attempted (Jets, Pats).

I think we ride with him for the rest of the year since he isn't as bad as the kickers in Washington or Houston (who still have jobs which should tell you something about the free agent market).

Maybe you have to let a kicker work through a slump? He's slumping pretty bad, but if you are going to keep him you don't destroy his confidence and then keep him on board. I fully expect there to be legit competition in camp next offseason no matter how he finishes the year out.
