do you realize 2 PT conversions are extremely difficult to get?
I can't remember the percentage of them being converted, but I feel like it was below 20 percent.

What am I missing here? If we go for 2 and make it - we are up by 4 - forcing them into a TD only situation. That would be much more difficult with 80 yards and 50 seconds. Obviously - that didn't happen. But we could be in OT right now. Not really sure how this speculation could be the dumbest question ever asked.

Those are the kinds of risks you take if you just don't care and want to experiment. They are not the kind you take if you want to win games. I won't speak for them. Well yes I will... if you asked every coach in the league what to do there, the decision would have been unanimous to do exactly what Payton did.

Please walk away from this thread.....you are only making yourself look worse. No sensible coach would do such a thing....even if they tie it up and we go into overtime, we have one of the best quarterbacks in the league and a pretty good kicker, I still like our chances.

This isn't Madden'12 dumb frick. The percentage of made 2nd conversions is under 20%. If you don't make it that makes them have to go 50yds for the win. How is this that hard for you to understand??
