Should we be worried about Drew’s accuracy?

He’s at 76.9% completion on the year, but yesterday, his 73.33% was so mediocre that he dropped down from 77.3%. I hope he can bounce back against the falcons because this is concerning. Last week he was at 88% and were a long way removed from 89.66% against the R words. Just don’t want this to be a trend.

Yes. I've put my worry meter on high, along with injuries to the O-line.

I mean he had 2 times as many incomplete passes as touchdowns. Someone should tell him the clock stops after touchdowns too.

Told my wife we were in trouble when he kept overthrowing the receivers early...luckily, we survived his shitty game

Just posted this on MSB:

According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Brees went 9-for-12 for 121 yards and two touchdowns while throwing into tight windows (no more than 1 yard of separation) against the Eagles -- or three more such completions than any other quarterback in any other game this season.

Hopefully he can turn things around for Thursday.

Don’t worry, Payton sees this too. Why do you think he let Tayaom throw the ball to a receiver screen. Bridgewater got time too. He is on it.

I apologize for the "can drew have a completion percentage of 80%" thread. It's been all downhill from there.

We’ve gotten lucky to win as much as we have with his sub par play lately

It is to be expected. At 39 the decline is not gradual, it can hit all at once. You can go from GOAT to SUCK overnight.

Two weels ago it would've been 11 for 12. I'm worried. Brees is a shell of his former self.

Drew’s receivers are saving him this year. Without Michael Thomas’s phenomenal catches and the other receivers making adjustments to Drew’s bad throws, Drew would basically be John Fourcade this year.

I guess we'll be winning in spite of Brees, instead of because of him.

Combined with a weak arm its all looking bleak.
We all should have listened to the trade Brees and CSP posters earlier this year!

I believe Sean Payton knows what’s up and is trying to ease Hill in so that come playoff time when Drew can’t hit the receivers we have a competent backup to Teddy.

shite, 1 time he made such a horrible overthrow of Tre'Quan Smith coming across the field to the right that it made me think that it wasn't even Brees, it was like another QB made that throw it was so inaccurate!
