We could lose every game and he shouldn't be on the hot seat.
The roster is trash. He needs some time to reconfigure. I think he will bring a great style of play, but this roster won't look good anyway.
The hope in the short term is he's just that good and we sneak up on some more talented rosters to get just enough buzz but still keep good draft picks. The hope in the next few years is that he reconfigures this roster and he's really good.

If you fire a new HC 1 year into his job good luck getting anyone to take the job in the future.
The only guy you would get at that point would be Dennis Allen.
That would be such a bad look all the way around

Nope.
The current staff ran this most recent draft.

I appreciate the legitimate responses to this thread that came from Wkd79, TownDrunkard, and some others that mentioned firing Moore after 1 season might tank future head coach hiring opportunities.
I've adjusted my position and I'm comfortable in giving Kellen 2 years and then re evaluating.
I'm still a bit concerned if he's got a decision between Nuss, Klubnik, and others at the top of next year's draft that he might miss based on his choice of Shough this season.

I need to see how he utilizes our boy Taysom Hill as well.
Draft process and player evaluations are important though. You can only do so much if you make the wrong draft decisions. These QB decisions aren't even really difficult in 2025, but there seem to be a lot of NFL guys that still don't understand how to evaluate and extrapolate QB talent. If our ex NFL QB HC can't figure it out, that's a major weakness/concern moving forward.
Sean Payton figured it out with Drew Brees. A guy that is 5ft 10 and was coming off a major shoulder issue. Sean Payton knew ball. We honestly don't know if Kellen does yet. The question I posed is more or less if we go 2-15 and Shough is garbage. I think it's a fair question, but some others made some decent points about the overall state of the roster (not just the QB position).

Should he be in the hot seat...what the hell.

Taysom costs 10 million dollars per year…he’s old and has a torn up knee.
Time to cut the fat and save the money for positions we need.

Three weeks in and not one snap in even a preseason game.

He hasn’t coached a single real game yet. You fricking idiot.

Taysom Hill is probably the 3rd best player in the modern day Saints era behind Brees and Cam Jordan.
The 5 games we won last year had his fingerprints all over them. There are also several games that we inexplicably went away from him that ended up costing us the game (EX: Green Bay a couple years ago).
I'm okay with paying Taysom 10 Mill a year until the day he dies if he wants to continue suiting up for the Saints.
Loomis has wasted a ton of draft capital and money on random arse shitty players with low talent and/or character.
Taysom's been worth every penny and more. It's just a shame his prime didn't align with Drew's prime a bit more.

Do some of yall just get on here and try to type up and submit the dumbest and most asinine threads just for attention and drama?
I mean for heavens sakes who in the hell would put a HC on the hot seat when he hasn’t even coached a single game yet? Lmao

Franchise is a bottom dweller.
They hired Opie as head coach.
Embrace the suck but, keep buying those season tickets and #9 jerseys.

Good thing you have absolutely no input on the Saints’ decisions.

Actually the QB Kellen Moore wanted was Jaxson Dart but Mickey was too big a pussy to trade up and got out maneuvered by the Giants.
