Greedy Williams or Drew Lock

More of a wish than an actual guess.

I'd be ok with that. Wouldn't mind Erik McCoy either.

Considering what's left...I'd say WR, OL, CB, & Safety are the main targets.

I'd rather not draft a QB, but there are still 3 solid prospects left.

PFF NO Saints ? @PFF_Saints Following Following @PFF_Saints More That marks the end of Round 1! Among the top available that fit the #Saints needs: OL Dalton Risner (19th overall on our board) WR AJ Brown (20th) OL Cody Ford (22nd) C Elgton Jenkins (26th) WR Andy Isabella (30th)

With OL at such a premium, it would be tough to expect the OL to last that long. PFF loves Isabella and he looks like he would be a great fit, but I still have faith in Meredith/Quan/Kirkwood being adequate):

Isabella may actually be the best fit of all the WRs in this class. Like we said yesterday, Isabella's three most targeted routes in 2018 (Go, Cross, Hitch) are also Drew Brees' most targeted routes for WRs.

Sounds like Colston reading up on him.

The one place Thomas doesn't excell is near the goalline (except on slants). Would be a good complement and give us something we haven't had since since losing Jimmy and Colston.

Really need a burner more, but we do have Ginn one more year.

Yea but Ginn isn’t a burner like he once was. We could use an upgrade

I don't think WR is the biggest need we have, but frick, Isabella is REALLY appealing:
LINK

quote:

While playing more than 63% of his offensive snaps outside the hashes at wide receiver, Isabella earned an FBS-high 93.2 overall grade in 2018. Among the 234 FBS receivers with 300-plus routes run in 2018, Isabella ranked first in yards per route run and 17th in passer rating when targeted (129.3).

Dude plays all over the field and kills it. Meredith and Ginn are in the last years of their contracts, Quan and Kirkwood are still question marks, and we still haven't extended MT. If he's still available at 62, I'm down to frick.

I agree (Oline may soon be a fire again), but BPA so if he's that where we pick then yeah.

There are a ton of solid WRs on that list. Man I wish we could snag a 3rd rounder somehow.

Could always pull another Kamara trade (next year's second for a third this year) if we feel like someone's worth it.

I'm surprised Kamara kept falling with the way it was out there that Sean was calling everyone and their mama trying to trade up for him.

I don't trust this new C that we have, but I still think that we have a great OL if they stay healthy. Peat was injured and dogshit all of last season, and he's playing for a new contract. He's going to put in his best season of his career. Not confident in Clapp/Tom. I couldn't even name our backup OT (excluding Peat kicking out). But looking purely at the starters, we have the #1 OT duo, and an above average OG duo.
