i'm still physically nauseous. I never thought a football game would have that affect on me.

I’m not an insane saints fan like for LSU but I really like the team for who they are and the season they’ve had and it’s just fricking wrong that such bullshite like crooked referee no-calls can affect something so many have put so much into on the brink of complete victory.

So I guess the principles of the whole thing really piss me off.

Truly a Blue Monday.
I just keep reminding myself I'm saving about $6500 cash on not going to SB now. Helps a little but still sucks a lot.

if that happened to LSU in the college football playoff I would be on suicide watch

Still really pissed off about it but I'm over it. It fricking sucks, but don't let something you can't control affect your daily life.

You just contradicted yourself. Seems like you're just not as big of a Saints fan as you are an LSU fan.

I respect all human life but sometimes I fantasize about Roger Goodell getting shot in the head. POS.

Still shocked. Feel like I lost my best friend.

Just sick to my stomach, been daydreaming all day.

It sucks

No one should feel worse than Drew. Yet again, he put the Saints in a position to win...only to watch the defense gag it away.

Yes, you can say that he threw the interception in OT...but if the defense stops the Rams on that last drive in regulation, it doesn't come to that.

remembering we coulda stopped them one more time after taking the lead

remembering Brees missed an easy completion

remembering we were kicking their arse at the beginning but settling for FGs

remembering 2009

That’ll all I got now to not go insane. Focusing on the bullshite obvious just makes it worse

Not talking about it for 72 hours with anyone. Trying to let the media help push it into my system. This hurts.

Not well but honestly the best I can. Just kind of down in general. I wasnt drinking at all yesterday(wanted to be sober and fully enjoy the moment).

I just turned everything off and sat there. No games, no TV, no cell. Woke up today just processing everything and trying to move on. Have a knot still in my stomach.

Honestly, it'll likely be worse next week, when all of the SB hype starts. At least the NHL's Golden Knights are playing right now, so I have something to take my attention from it.

I think that the best way for folks back there to handle it has already been mentioned...have a parade for the Saints and do it while the SB is on. Maybe do like Bacchus and have a float that has a Goodell or a ref image that everyone can throw their beads at.

I don't think my fandom will ever be the same. I'm not one of those types that say they will never watch again or threaten to boycott the Super Bowl. But I do know that moving forward, my enjoyment of games will be affected just as LSU was after Alabama. I'll watch but will be gun shy fearing something like this will happen again.
