Seems like there's a lot of media types linking Saints to Jaxson Dart all of a sudden

I've seen in the past 24 hours a lot of media types hinting that the Saints are more interested in Dart than other QBs and that he would be their guy.
Nothing concrete or saying HE IS the guy, but a lot of hinting and comments.
You can't believe anything this time of year but it is interesting

i'm not even sure shedeur drops out the top 7.
saints have done a ton of homework on dart. maybe even moreso than shedeur.

I’ve seen Dart being mentioned as a possibility for several teams in the draft.

I agree, Shedeur will be gone by 9; if he's there I'm almost certain Mickey will take him.

I've seen a lot of people also speculating that Sanders will drop far out of the top 10 and many teams don't think highly of him at all

Speculation based on logic. Any QB that gets passed the Saints at 9 won’t run across a QB needy team until Pitt. So outside of mocking trades, that puts them out of the top 20. And if Pitt doesn’t see the value you’re waiting for a trade back into the 1st to get that 1st round bag

It goes further than that. I've seen a few "most teams don't have a 1st round grade on Sanders" comments

Dart is tough (underrated aspect to qb'ing). He gets first downs. I think he'll be a good pro. Outside of Ward, I think this qb class is underrated. I'd be excited if the Saints landed him or Shedeur, provided they don't trade up to pick either.

If he’s there in the second, sure. But we need so many positions right now that we should get best available at pretty much every position. Don’t reach for QB. Suck this upcoming season then you have much better QB options in 2026 and hopefully a higher draft pick.

All the more reason to build either line at 9 and trade back into the 1st if you really do want a QB

9 is way to high for Dart. Woukd be a huge mistake taking him that early. Have heard we try to move up into the bottom first to get him if he starts dropping.
