Both at home, if half of the injury report comes back, both winnable.

Win both, and you’re set up well for a pretty mild 2nd half of the schedule. 1-1 or 0-2, seasons probably toast.

All depends on health, imo. Need Werner and Ruiz and Hill, etc back.

No season isn't over. It's very close.

Oddly enough, the game against the Buccaneers might be the toughest two games left on our schedule.

It’s actually a pretty pathetic schedule. There’s absolutely no reason we shouldn’t make the playoffs and win the NFC South but we all know we won’t because Dennis Allen are coach.

I agree. Over the last three games, we have had 6 starters out. McCoy was a huge blow. It doesn't take a genius to see how injuries have absolutely killed this team. And yes, it's an excuse. The same excuse the media is giving the 49ers and Rams.

If the Saints can get lucky with few injuries, they have a chance.

Losing to the KC Chiefs IN Kansas City is not the end of the world.

Like someone else said, season isn’t over but it’s teetering.

I'm really concerned we get some guys back next week, but just change them out with Carr, Patrick, and Harris. I know Carr is the whipping boy here, but he is vital next week imo

the center position is still a problem with a 3rd stringer set to start for at least the next 4 weeks or so since both McCoy & Lemieux are on IR now

Could it be Ruiz if he's back?

Funny how before the game you had to dig through numerous posts about how this team was going to lose to KC; hell every poster used a sharpie to mark KC as a loss before the season. Then when they lose, OMG the sky is falling, this team sucks, won’t win another game…

I forgot he is marked as a C/G... so he can slide over to center if he's able

But still... not optimal for a spot of the team that was already marked as thin at full health

Yea if you don’t squander the two previous games vs conference/division foes

This is true. If we coulda just closed out 1 of those games, this season looks much better

Allen may have sat a few players tonight as a precaution. I know people hate to hear this, but in the grand scheme of things, a KC loss shouldn't hurt us that much. Rather get more players back for a division game.

You are setting yourself up for a disappointment.

this just made it even worse

so... we were starting our 4TH STRING center... and at 1 point had to go down to the 5TH STRING when Patrick had to go to the locker room

that's just too much at a very pivotal spot on the field
