This shite is so dumb. There are 4 active head coaches with at least 150 wins and a .625 winning percentage. Two of them are Bill Belichick and Andy Reid. The other two are Mike Tomlin and Sean Payton.
If you dropped qualifying win totals all the way down to 100, he still has the 3rd highest winning % amongst active coaches. Behind only Belichick and Reid again.
People cry about the 7-9 seasons.
Sean Payton had 5 seasons of 8-8 or worse in his first 15 years.
Bill Belichick had 5 seasons of 8-8 or worse in his first 15 years.
Andy Reid had 5 seasons of 8-8 or worse in his first 15 years.
Edit: CSP's worst year was 7-9. Belichick and Reid both have 3 seasons of 6-10 or worse.

Sounds like he couldn't wait any longer to share that.
No doubt had a long time to mull over what he was going to say during his fake retirement.

Where are we at in wins from 2006-2021?

He said what everyone thought and many said last year. Every week the Broncos did something that made you say you can't be that stupid. He was easily one of the worst coaches that anyone can remember.

In fairness we did have a stretch where we went 7-9 three years in a row. The offense was very good statistic wise but inconsistent, but the D was abysmal. The talk here was plenty of FIRE SP. Then Ireland came in and fixed our scouting and drafting, and this team turned around in a big way.
Werent those the bountygate years where Goodell and company just fricked us over?
Im not saying Sean is blameless but people keep quoting that like good coaches dont have down years. Quite honestly going 7-9 with the worst defense in league history is not that terrible.

Payton is an egotistical dick. He’s trying to make excuses for his old washed up QB. I hope he crashes and fricking burns. I also hope that the Jets kick their arse since Nathaniel Hackett is the OC. It would be nice if Aaron hangs 40 on that dick head.

Another silly argument
So you’re happy with spayton blowing several opportunities to win a second and possible third SuperBowl
With a HOF QB
Because you a just so happy with one
THAT IS A LOSERS point of view

Spayton is the reason why we had some of the worst defenses in the history of the NFL
Not to mention some of the worst special teams
I don’t care about having down years
I care about the missed opportunities to win at least one more SuperBowl and maybe two more.
That’s on him
He blew the opportunities

He had to hire DCs he could put a leash on because the only successful one got him suspended. You are missing tons of context to it. But i dont get the feeling you care about being objective when it comes to Sean. You just hate the guy

You guys love to repeat winning percentages
And winning seasons
HOW MANY SUPERBOWL WINS?

Give me a decent coherent argument
That he didn’t blow several opportunities to win at least and second
Or even a third
With a HOF QB
When I have time I’ll go back and list all of the debacles
I’ll start with the last Vikings playoff game….

I’m willing to come on this board
Because I’m a Saints fan
And I have opinions that I like to express
I’m sorry you have to personally attack me and circle some guys to help you
Even bringing it to another board!
This is a dull and boring board and always has been
Chicken should pay me for keeping this place on life support

Well, he’s by far the beast HC in Saints history. How would you describe Allen?

It’s a mask for their true feelings which are along the lines of “I hate Sean for flirting with Miami and eventually ditching us. I hate that he and his wife realized NOLA is a shitehole and would prefer to live and work in the beautiful Colorado mountains. He went 7-9 for 3 years, he sucks. I hope he loses every game in Denver but deep down I know he’ll be winning quickly.”
