Billy Belicheck. Brady, Matt Cassel in the 7th, J Brisett, Jimmy G, and now Mac Jones. All started in the NFL and have had some success. I’d say that’s pretty dam good…..
Payton hasn’t drafted one that has tuned out as good as any of those…..

I heard rumors that CSP was trying to trade up to take Patrick Mahomes one year and Mac Jones another. Is that true?

And if my aunt had balls, she’d be my uncle. He didn’t try to trade up for Mahomes. He might have drafted him if he dropped so no, not true. Apparently the chiefs thought more highly of him. And same for Mac Jones.
You see how they moved up specifically for Olave this year. Apparently he didn’t believe in Mac Jones enough to pay the price to go up and get him.
His record for bringing in QBs compared to BB is what it is, complete shite. But BB hasn’t drafted worth a frick outside of QB so….

CSP looks at prospect QB's with his own QB eyes and just see's things that are not there. And while it is the most difficult roster spot to get right CSP just excelled at getting it wrong.
