You were talking haener when I had no idea who he was. Props

I appreciate that.

I watch a ton of Pac-12 at night during the season so I've been on the Haener train for ~2 years. Very convinced that he can work very well within a sound system as a pro despite his physical limitations.

You can tell when you watch him play and have context for the game situations that he's just got something to him. Excited to see what he does.

I’d give it a 8/10. I would go higher but I’m not sold on Foskey just yet but I’m pretty sure they wanted to trade up but couldn’t make it work.

I love Breese, Miller, the OL and AT Perry picks. Haener could turn into a solid backup as well.

Lose points for literally no value picks

How do you base these value picks? Are you referring to players that are high on some analyst’s board that no GMs wants. Some might call those potential bust picks.

I like all the picks except the 2nd rounder. But it is at a position you draft in the top two rounds.

This draft seemed oddly sane and calculated. No crazy trades. The picks are all solid players. Fit the needs.

If last years class starts to step up and our vets stay healthy.... I'm pretty content with the talent. Now let's see how the coaches do

Filled needs. We just need to see the results on the field this fall.

8/10. It would have been easy for them to get flashy with their picks but they played it smart and stayed in their lane and focused on their needs.

Kiper graded our draft as the 2nd worst, and he also cited almost all of our picks as reaches. Guess he’s just drunk.

Four of the most well known draft analysts prediction outcome of the NFL draft first round.
1. Daniel Jeremiah 6 correct picks
2. Todd Mcshay 4 correct picks
3. Peter King 2 correct picks
4. Mel Kiper Jr. 1 correct pick

Let's be honest here, I'm sure he hit the first pick and blew the next 30 at least. With all due respect Kiper's reputation is about as blown up as his hair style.

6-7. I think they fkd up not taking BJ or Nolan with the 1st pick.

Just my opinion.

As far as drafting talented players at positions of need, I’d say an 8

For not making stupid trades that mortgaged the future, a 10

How good this draft class will actually be, TBD

The Saints fricked up by not taking 2 odd front pass rushers when they deploy a primarily even front?

Not taking guys that don’t fit your scheme is a positive not a negative.
