So a team that was one bad game(Dallas) away from possibly going undefeated and did not lose any big players is not the favorite in the NFC and we still almost beat dallas with that bad performance.

I like it - let ESPN drool all over Dallas and MN while we just keep piling on the W's.

definitely, it does not bother me a bit. I do think they should go back and view their tapes of all their sports casters giving the saints no chance in the super bowl. If we do make another super bowl run though it would not surprise me if GW was the next coach of the cowboys.

Scott Fujita was obviously the glue to this defense.

ESPN hates whatever team we're pulling for.

I would venture to say ESPN is actually a small reason why we won the Super Bowl last year. For one, they lit a huge fire in our team and we played the underdog roll to perfection. But also, it took a little edge off the Colts swagger. I dont care how small of an ego you have, but when you are being told for two weeks straight "You're the best", "You guys wont have a problem", "Peyton Motherfricking Manning!" you wont be as fired up to play.

So PLEASE ESPN, please continue to doubt us and go with the same old teams again. And we'll just keep on winning and we'll be in SB44

Well... I don't have a huge problem with them not picking us to get back. Its fricking hard to make it to the superbowl and much harder when you're the defending champs because of the target on your backs and everyone wants to knock off the champs. What I do have a problem with is their reasoning. shite like..

~The Saints were extremely lucky last year. Lost their last 3 and limped into the playoffs where they got hot.
~No NFC South team has ever won the division in back to back seasons
~Their defense wasn't very good

No, we lost 1 close game and then lost 2 where our starters sat.
The NFC South stat is totally ridiculous, just a coincidence just like no team thats ever lost their last 3 or lost to TB has won the superbowl
Our D sucked in 08, we brought in GW and won the superbowl. The thing is hes not even done building his defense.

I'm pretty excited about Sharper working on Jenkins this year. Dude has a lot of potential, especially in the forcing fumbles catagory.

That's not 100% true. We lost to a desperate Dallas team that had to win that game and we rested our starters for Carolina, but the loss to Tamp to clinch the first round bye was easily the poorest performance of the season, especially since we were up like 17-0. No starters were rested in that game. I'm still confused how we lost that one.

They are still trying to figure out a way to give the Super Bowl to the Colts, so no way they are going to give the Saints any credit.
