Four plays determined the game- really two

Kamara’s fumble that was returned for a TD

Horrible tackling that should have resulted in 3rd and 13 instead was a a Carolina touchdown

Other two big play were the missed field goals.

This team needs to focus and a lot of that is on the coaching staff.

After calming down, I think this team is capable of righting the ship.

Statistically it's extremely unlikely they continue to exist this far in the negative on turnovers and penalties. Traditional wisdom says that the coaching is bad and that's probably true to an extent but not enough to make it this bad.

In the end I think this team will start to right the ship down the stretch and make it not as bad as it could be. Doubt they make the playoffs but a 9 win season is possible imo

It was brutal being there yesterday. Definitely took some time to calm down.

When the chop block call came - we had a 1st & 10 at their 19. Never dreamed we wouldn’t score for 3 quarters.

All about turnovers.

We need to stop turning it over and start generating some on defense.

This is the only reason the team is 1-2 and not 3-0.

Don't forget the drive killing penalties.

Nice to see people being reasonable today. Lot of morons on here yesterday blaming the entire saints woes on Winston. A lot of those people were anti Payton so they are afraid to admit they were wrong and use Winston instead.

Defense is excellent. When the line gives Winston time he can make the plays. It literally all comes down to does Winston have time to go through his progressions.

It’s Winston and Payton’s fault.

Undisciplined teams, bad game planning and adjustments are a coaching issue.

This offense has no identity. I’m starting to think keeping Carmichael may not have been a good idea. I’ll reserve judgment, but so far so bad.

Which was a bullshite drive-killing, points-stealing call by Roger’s goons.

Paired with the phantom holding call later in the game that turned a 1st and 10 at Carolina’s 35 (?) into a 3rd and 12 at the 50, two calls that flipped the winner—even WITH the terrible play of our own.

I am so goddamned tired of watching zebras influence games in bogus ways that amazingly hurt us at a rate about 5x what our opponents get.
I understand there are going to be bad calls—but we routinely get fricked with bullshite calls, and it’s exhausting.

Screw you, ginger Satan!

Winston is A problem but not the only problem with this team. The Saints are working with a retread QB that is not the long term solution. We are going no wear with current roster as a Superbowl/ Playoff contender. We need a QB high draft choice and we may have to give up a very good player and draft choice to get him.

I was at the game so I didn’t see clearly but McCoy was pushed WAY back on the played Kamara fumbled. People were talking about Vannett but D Brown blew up the play.
