Must mean Sean double hates LSU because there is no need for Clapp at center.

I like the pick for the future, just not now
Does anyone know how McCoy graded out last year?

Peoples Jones sucks balls.

Ruiz started 5 games at guard as a freshman... but did most of his damage at center
is the #1 ranked center according to ESPN as I noted above and had an overall rank of 37 (again... ESPN)
ESPN believes he's versatile enough to play guard in the NFL

Clapp may not make the team next year.

And that's why we have only one Super Bowl and one appearance.
Living off that 1 Super Bowl smh

Jeff Ireland drafted Ryan Ramczyk and McCoy. Each pick is different, but I have to think they know what they're doing on the offensive line. That's a spot where I would want them making picks. And it’s a spot that can absolutely make an impact THIS year. This dude can beat out Warford and give us the best OL in the league, which our fans think we have but we don’t

Would be great to trade into high second right about now. We need a LB or WR
Needs are not a concern to Sean.

I’m concerned about the LB position. I think the Minn playoff game pissed Sean off at the ol. Ruiz is a solid pick.

Watch this guy end up going to like 10 pro bowls.
This could end up being a smart pick. Brees got hurt last year with pressure coming up the middle against the Rams, then later in the season we get manhandled by Atlanta and then Minnesota in the playoffs. It's not an attractive pick at all but this could pay off big come playoff time

Damn. A whole lot of trades suddenly happening.

I trust the Saints are confident he WILL play guard!

Yeah I agree. We got bitch slapped by the Vikings in the playoffs last year with 4 down linemen
And
Atlanta
And
Atlanta

Reminds me of the ram pick
I just want a WR/LBer at some point in the next few rounds and I'm happy

I think it’s going to be a solid pick. Nothing is guaranteed but pro bowl centers and guards are worth their weight in gold.

Exactly. Dude knew after that game that we didn’t have as good of an OL that we thought we did
