The #Eagles and Patrick Robinson got close on a contract extension on Monday. Then stalled. … then his window opened. And the #Saints jumped in and locked him down. He’s a former #Saints first round pick.

He was improving with us. Health was his biggest issue. If he is past the nagging injuries, it’s a solid depth signing.

To be fair he was pretty good in San Diego too

Yup. When he left the Saints he was almost immediately pretty good in SD, and then was damn good last year in Philly.

Our Defensive Coordinators were all over the place when he was here too.

He sucked with us, but went on to do well with Philly.

Signed possibly the best slot CB in the league and half the thread is melting. Jesus.

I feel like I’m back in the 2017 draft thread when we picked Latt over Allen.

And aren't on a defense giving up the most yards in NFL history.

Can't say I followed PRob much once he left so my memory is sullied by the past. He's been better since he left?

I like this signing. He's been good in most games I've seen in San Diego/Philly. He had that huge pick 6 in the NFC champ game last year. Would I be thrilled signing him as a #1 CB? Not really. But as another option with Lattimore and Crawley already established with Williams still in the mix? Absolutely.

Significantly. He was also playing on better defenses with better pass rushes, to be fair.

But yes, he was pretty good in SD and very good in Philly.

So true

If it makes anyone feel better - the Patriots were pursuing him as well.

Only the Saints would have to send a player away to get coached up.

PRob was a good slot corner his last year with us, went to san diego and played well there, then went to Philly and played well there. He's not a "one year wonder" like some of you are trying to make him out to be. Some of you are a bunch of reactionary, miserable, mouth-breathing morons.

Don't. This one has been pretty good and has the stats to prove it.

Good teams have depth. He is quality depth.

Your top 4:
Lattimore
Crawley
Robinson
Williams

Is a lot better than
Moore
Williams

Or

Williams
Harris
