don't know about McCord but Trask was released by TB... he is certainly better than both of our QBs

Gotcha. I know you weren't disagreeing, but I wasn't sure where your were going other than adding Haener sucks. xD
My point was more to how someone can bitch about guys like Haener and Grayson while then promoting a similar guy like McCord because of college stats, just so they can try to knock our rookie before he ever plays in a real game.
But people can say what they will, Shough looked better than McCord.
McCord might be better than Haener, but claiming he is better than Shough because college stats is about the dumbest fricking argument you can make. Just ask Jarvis Jones. Or hell ask our resident bust in Foskey how much college stats (or even RAS scores) truly matter in the nfl. They are only part of the equation.

It's more than just college stats. McCord had some pretty interesting/amazing testing during the draft process.
And we know Haener is complete shite at QB in the NFL. There is no upside with him. We know what we have and it's beyond dogshit. McCord may be as shite, but why not go with the more physically talented QB who can't be any worse?
