The Saints have released White from injured reserve with an injury settlement. He's now a free agent and can sign with another team.

White, 30, is still searching for a long-term home in the NFL.
Coming out of West Virginia, White was considered an elite prospect. The Chicago Bears selected him with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Unfortunately for White, injuries and inconsistent play prevented him from reaching his full potential.

After brief stints with the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers, White signed with the Saints.

In six games last season, White caught one pass for 38 yards. Overall, he has 26 career receptions for 323 yards.

He's a huge bust. Just for comparison, Callaway in his rookie season as an UDFA almost totalled his career numbers in 11 games.

He’s very fast.

That’s it. He can’t catch for shite. He was a good special teamer. Not really what you want from a top 10 pick, but at least it wasn’t our top 10 pick. Always wondered why he never tried to become a punt or kick returner.

4.35 fast and at 6'3" 200 plus lbs. He's had a few injuries. I'm sure teams looked at his numbers and size and thought might be able to do something with him but that hasn't been the case.

This may lot be the last of him. Just sayin’.

The last 5-10 spots on an NFL are fluid. Especially with easier IR designations.

It really is a shame. He was on IR with the Bears three seasons in a row. Check out this clip from 3 or 4 years ago. Kind of sums up his career. One yard short.

He has everything you could possibly want in a wide receiver except for the ability to catch the ball.

First round bust but thankfully not ours.

That one catch was 17% of his total career yardage.

This is a great move. He is terrible. Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.
Dude simply cannot catch.
