Just realized my error. What pfr calls an expected W/L record is what they calculate to be the team's record "should have been," given the team's points scored and allowed. Nothing to do with expectations going into the season.
The funny thing about your point of "recreating the Chargers" is we have the future Broncos with Payton, DA represented the Raiders recreation. So, if Moore and Co does not work; we should expect the next move will be to just poach the Chiefs coaching staff
