There is no reason that we haven't done what Brady did with the Raiders. Let him buy like 5% stake and be the face of the ownership team. At least there would be a real football person as part of the ownership.

He doesn't have the 5% cash.

Would we get a Jimmy Johns at the facility?

Free Stale arse Jimmy John’s bread every time Loomis converts salary to a signing bonus or pushes money at least 1 year down the road.

I like it.

Pretty sure godell would have the league give him the 5%, Brees stabbed his family in the back and bent over for Malcolm Jenkins for a reason right

Dumb. What’s the point of this? You think Brady will turn the Raiders around magically?

At a $4.4B valuation, 5% would be $220M. Not many people in this state have enough liquidity to make that work. Sure as heck not Brees at only $160M net worth. The smallest allowable private equity stake is 3% ($132M @ current valuation). Realistically he couldn't even make that work without gambling his entire life estate, quite literally selling his soul to the devil (Goodell). He could possibly put together a PE group, of which he is the face of, to scratch up the cash, but there are too many irons in the fire imo.

Brees has no money.

The FIFY moment is....

Saints need to sell %'s to the Mannings. Get on the good side of the NFL and make the image of the Saints one of which the NFL would drool over....

Brees is a great QB, but otherwise, he is a talentless hack.

I would say start getting Todd Graves to invest as a minority owner along with a team of other people, possibly including the Mannings.

Have them primed and ready for Graves to buy the rest necessary for primary ownership

No shot Brees could buy 5 percent of this team.

He couldn't buy 1% outright (obviously he could leverage money just like any other prospective owner would do, but I don't think he has enough of his own assets to do even that)

If the Benson family etc. still wants a certain check to receive, cool let them have that...but meanwhile step back and let others be involved that can make decisions that will truly benefit the economy and the Gulf Coast.

Its crazy what something like that can do for a region, and the fact that they continue to just kick the can, its not doing us as an economy any good.

Neither does Brady. Do you really think Brady has $300 million cash for his 5% share?
