The Saints have learned enough from losing three first halves in a row. 19-0 would be the most awesome thing to ever happen in the life of my fandom. Hell, imagine football people around the country having to discuss the Saints as one of the best teams ever for the rest of our lives.
I'm all for going undefeated. Just ELEVEN more games to go.

There is no logic into losing a game...In every game since kids we are to try to win but have sportmanship about it...like Ricky Bobby said If you ain't first you last

We did loose a game..hell we are nothing BUT game losses. 2008, 2007 heck even 2006 , as far back as we can remember we have lost game. Now we have learned from those adversity and are now trying to create the perfect gameplay for each game. One at a time.

If you look at it, they lost 2 first halves.

Ha, exactly. Add em together and its just like having a loss, but still able to be 8-0.

It does work. going 16-0 has nothing to do with the Pats losing the SB, just as my screen name has nothing to do with my not hooking up with Beyonce.

In other words, the people who say things like, "the Pats went 16-0, and they didn't win the SB, so we should lose a game," or "when Running Back A gets 100 yards, Team B is 15-1," have no concept of logic. They are confusing coincidence and/or correlation with causality, which is a common fault in the realm of sports conversation.

It is a coincidence that my screen name is Sophandros and I haven't hooked up with Beyonce, just as its a coincidence that the Pats were 16-0 and didn't win the SB that year.

Hahaha. Yes, there's that. Except that many others share the same opinion.

Just because I'm better than you doesn't make me arrogant...

Please stop capitalizing the word "black" - this isn't Essence magazine or The Louisiana Weekly!

the only thing that makes me nervous is the whole "we gotta peak at the right point of the season" thing. god i would hate for the saints to do all this and then slump at the end and lose the first playoff game.

Take it from a Pats fan, that 16-0 ruined their chances for the Superbowl. It turns every game into a circus, and every team is just gunning for you. Its kinda like when a pitcher is throwing a perfect game, except there is a week between innings.
