They are going up to get that franchise LT after losing Armstead this offseason.

Trade that #16 and #19 pick to the New York Football Giants to move up to #5. The Draft pick value chart checks out.

They move up to get either Ekwonu, Neal, or Cross.

Mark it down, ladies and gents!!!

Or or or. Keep the picks where you can still get a franchise LT and stud at WR.

maybe, but the top 4 OTs are likely off the board once pick 16 rolls around

Nah. They're going to stay put and draft a DE as per tradition.

You want to trade 3 first round picks for a tackle?

No I think we’re using this capital to fill holes with controlled contracts as guys from previous strong drafts are coming due.

This draft is loaded with top end OTs and WRs in the first round. You can easily get a stud OT and extremely talented WR with those two first round picks.

This is considered a weak draft. Now philly has ammunition to get QB next year

That’s right.

In an indirect way, this highlights the frickery in the Rams NFCCG yet again. Maybe our best draft ever in 2017 has numerous starters on rookie contracts in Brees’s last truly elite season. We all know how it ended.

It’s considered a weak draft because only 23 players have first ground grades. Seems like we have positioned ourselves to get 2 of those 23. If we have a good season it’s a solid trade (because more contributing players on rookie contracts give us more salary cap room for FA’s next year). If we go through injury hell again and our record suffers, it becomes a bad trade.

This will be the talking point for the next year—— the Saints gave up 13 first round draft picks for another BUST or PROJECT

For quarterbacks, and at the very top. Lots of value mid to late first, hence the trading of the pics

I’ve read where not one player in this years draft would go top 12 last year.
