the irony of the name "Saints" with Blind Brees at the helm!!!

Please present your argument for attacking Brees. At least 100 words, and be as eloquent as possible.

I'm sure it will be riveting and well thought out.

I don't share your conclusion.

First all these grown men will have to carry a grudge and never let it go.
Second they would all have to have zero forgiveness.
And third they would have to let effect their work place and their earning ability.

We will see.

You think Brees doesn’t want to stop racial injustice?
Whatever the hell that means in terms of day to day society. But sure.

The problem has nothing to do with the players political beliefs and everything to do with the ad hominem attacks on Brees on social media just to get some likes and retweets. As opposed to reaching out to him personally as a man who has had nothing but a positive impact on their lives so far

Nothing Drew said had anything to do with not wanting to stop racial injustice.

To throw it back at your, why is Drew Brees being villainized for saying he doesn't think it's ok to disrespect the flag of his country?

This is not the problem. The problem is how they're handling their reaction to Brees. They're are certainly allowed to disagree with what he said. They needed to address this with Drew instead of going straight to the public and trashing his character out in the open.

This is not a situation where there is no one to take your grievances to in order to get your feelings across. All they needed to do was pick up a phone. Handle personal problems, personally.

My personal opinion is that Drew is definitely getting unjustly criticized, but with that being said, I also think he missed an oppurtunity for him to express his opinion on what's happennig now. Instead, he took the stance of what the flag and anthem means to him while at the same time seeming tone deaf to what is actually happenning.

The Saints need to draft players like Julio from here on out. I like no-drama players that can ball out and not frick up everything with their loud mouths.

Why not try getting him a hearing aid (picking up the phone), instead of bludgeoning Brees with a two by four.

If they communicate and talk it out and then move on, they can use these emotions to come together as a team and grow stronger together.

Nothing would make me happier than to see the Saints use this fire to destroy the falcons this year. I don't want to see Drew leave NOLA like this, and I dont want to trade anyone because of how they feel about current events.

Can we as fans move on too please?

Well Crab Legs Has arrived. They better be careful what they wished for. Can’t wait to watch this team completely melt this season. It’s going to be glorious.

This team has a lot of loud mouths which tells me Brees and Cam are fricking outstanding locker room guys.

The one thing we have going for us is all these guys want to be the best and they want to win. Take Michael Thomas for example, he may dislike Drew, hell for all we know he may have disliked Drew before this, but that guy is so obsessed with being the best he’s still going to do whatever he can to be the best.

But they don’t want talk it out. They want to force the old white dude in the locker room to get in line with their group think or all hell is going to break loose. The saints are dead to me. This run was fun. It’s over. Back to the Pre 2006 aints. It didn’t have to end this way.
