I never said its not worth talking about. However your reasoning and

makes you sound like an ignorant and uneducated prick

they didn't WEAR the alternates...

tell Kobe and the lakers fans there isn't a difference when they're in their white at home...

or when teams do a blackout, or a goldout, or redout.

i'm not the only one

Considering the depth of the questions he is asking, it sounds like quite the opposite. If he said, "Why don't we have throwbacks, they are so pimp", then I could see the reasoning behind the opinion you have. I have asked the same question. I can guarantee you that the Patriots have sold way more throwback unis over the past 2 years than ever before. Perhaps the throwback unis cannibalize the regular unis. I don't see the problem in questioning the decision not to have alternates.

Seems condescending. The OP seems written as though the idea is a goldmine staring into the marketing department's face that they're not seeing.

His reasoning is what comes off as uneducated.

Seriously? How does the OPer know this? What market study did he do on the topic and what results did he get that led him to this conclusion? What are the manufacturing costs and how do they relate to the organization's cash position? Any resemblance of a cost-benefit analysis would have shown he put more thought into this than "throwbacks are so pimp." Its naive for the OPer to come off as he knows more than the VP of marketing. but hell, thats just my opinion. He knows exactly how good it worked for the Patriots as well as the difference between their market and the Saints' market.

REALLY!! Seriously people is this something that even deserves a thread? I don't understand the pathetic complaining of some people and the shite they will cry about. Throwback uniforms?

Didn't the Saints just win a Super Bowl last year and are having yet another good year currently. And some of you people can't accept prosperity. No you are the pathetic little cry babies that are never happy unless you're bitching and moaning about something. Screw the damn throw back uniforms. Enjoy what you have now. Find something to really worry about in life.

Its because your posts are terrible. Each and every one of them is absolutely terrible. Your conclusions carry about a 95% failure rate, and they don't even show any form of logical reasoning. You are by far one of the worst posters on this message board.

You forgot the gold numbers from the Ditka era.

I'd take the old school uniforms they wore in the Haslett era. Those were awesome. Era 1 is legt, too. I hate these damn all black abominations.

It's funny to me that people take time to post in a thread that they say is a waste of time to make. I dig throwbacks and alt. unis. I like "3rd era" for Saints throwbacks, white numbers maybe white pants.

Exactly. As long as we never bring back the gold jerseys, I'm okay, although I hate those black pants.

Yeah I'm out of here. Nobody gets my humor or understands my bombastic comments for what they are. I'm done with the abuse.

I think part of your problem is that (by your own admission) you gamble heavily on the Saints and when things don't go as planned you make knee jerk posts immediately.

I don't think you're a bad fan or anything, and I've flamed you plenty of times before.
