He was a damn good defense cood at miss state. 10th in total defense his one year at state in 2017.

This is absolutely hilarious. Grantham is well known for having antiquated defenses that don’t make in game adjustments. Oh well, at least he will help with the tank.

Dennis Allen is the DC, really. He's a DL guy and that's fine with me. Hopefully he resonates with Payton Turner.

His stint at Florida was pretty awful. Putting it mildly. And then he was on staff for probably the worst defense Saban's had at Bama since his first year, even if he was just an analyst. He hasn't had a good run of it the last few years so I'm not surprised some have negative reactions. Maybe the switch back to the NFL will help him a bit. It's still Allen's defense ultimately.
