Correct, its a great move.
But whomever is in charge will have their work cut out for them just to get under the 2025 cap, let alone sign anyone.

we have that this year. just waiting to see something that backs up terrells tweet that wash is taking on his salary and non prorated bonus next year. thats 18mil. if we actually got that deal then this trade was a grand slam. good trade anyway considering our circumstances.

2025 is gonna be tough, so we should start taking our medicine now. Carr isn't fully healthy, so don't play him. Olave should be done for the season. Move chase for anything today. Limit AK touches to 15 a game to prevent wear. Improving our picks should be the goal

The Lattimore pick was the biggest mis by Sean Payton. They could have moved up 1 spot and gotten Mahomes, but Sean and Loomis chose that draft to not move up.

If you can get at least a fourth rounder for him, I think that's a pretty good deal
