Saints have signed 5xPro Bowl Guard Trai Turner

hoping they just place Peat on IR during training camp and give Turner his job ... just get it over with early this year.

Yeah the last 3 seasons he’s bounced around so not sure where his play is now but he’s definitely a good depth piece to back up one of the most injury prone lineman in the nfl

How was he still available? Was he injured? Did he suck last season?

He’s been on 3 teams the last 3 years so I assume he’s either dropped off some or just struggling to find a good fit. He’s been pretty healthy. He started almost every game the last two seasons

Looks like Trai has largely been a Right Guard.

I wanted us to draft him the year he came out. But his play starting falling off a good bit while he was still in Carolina. Not sure what happened to him since he was still relatively young.

Last year's PFF grade: Trai Turner: 62.1 player grade, 65.1 pass-blocking grade.
