Well if he says so.

By the way, one does not simply do a bounty.

Ooh, He Mad.

But seriously, let's rehash this for a second.
- The NFL has suspended players and coaches coasting well over 10 million dollars in salaries.
- The NFL has fined the Saints and relieved them of 2 draft picks.
- The NFL has publicly named names of players who supposedly participated in this.
- The NFL has not disclosed a single piece of evidence, nor did it even talk to several of the players suspended.

Despite all this, the media continues to run with this like its Gospel.

And Saints fans are the idiots for daring to question the all mighty NFL? I mean, ESPN would never falsely report a story, right?

I just don't think Vilma and the Saints would be pushing so hard for evidence if they knew something was going to be made public to make them look bad.

This article was wreckless and unprofessional and unfortunately not surprising.

lmao, this guy has the writing skills of an middle schooler.

THEY DID IT, THEY DID THE BOUNTIES!

what a fricking idiot. I can understand his position but CBS may want to hire someone who can write at a high school level to assume his stance.

One of the most poorly written articles I've ever read. Impressive.

I don't understand how CBS can let him post an article like that. It is poorly written, unprofessional, completely biased, complete opinion , using not one fact in the entire article.

It really sounds like a drunk post on the rant.

And it's articles like this that make me ok with Vilma suing the league for defamation. But Vilma damn better have not engaged in any of the actions claimed against him or he will come across as described in the article.

If I were fired due to report that I did something wrong and was sure to lose AT LEAST a year's salary, I would strongly consider legal action if I felt the allegations of wrongdoing were unfounded.

It is amazing to me how the media have just been lap dogs for Goodell and the league. Don't they want to see what the evidence is that resulted in teh harshest penalties in league history?

Goodell issued punishment that, so far as I can tell, was over the top and out of scale to what happened. If the punishment fits "the crime," he is probably not dealing with any of this. The smug one brought this on himself.

Vilma is suing Roger Goodell for defamation and the lawsuit is doing two things. One, it's an attempt to force Goodell to show all of the evidence they've gathered. Presumably, Vilma and his lawyers believe they may be able to get the evidence this way, through the discovery process. Not sure that will work but who knows.

But mostly, this is another example of why the Saints are in the position they're in. They did it. They did the bounties. But they don't want to admit they did it and they don't want to serve their punishment for the crime.

Isn't it contradictory to say they don't want to admit that they did it, then turn around and say Vilma wants Gooddell to show all of the evidence gathered?

How in the hell does this man still have a job where he is allowed any access to the public? He's a complete imbecile... CBS should be embarrassed.

Not at all.

He's saying that he didn't do it, and he wants the world to know that the league was being malicious toward him because they were going after him with nothing to support their claims.

No I mean the writer.

The writer says:

- They did it
-THey won't admit it
-Vilma wants Gooddell to show all the evidence

Those 3 things don't add up. If they did it and don't want to admit it, wouldn't they NOT want the evidence to come out?

A) It sounds like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed before they wrote this "article".
B) Is this even long enough to be an article. This was something I could've written in a drunken "I hate the Saints" bitch-fest.
C)
quote:

It's why they're leaving an empty seat for Sean Payton for the upcoming season. The poor, persecuted Saints. Everyone is picking on us. The commissioner is a big meanie who actually makes us pay for what we did. That approach won't work outside the city of New Orleans.

Guilty or innocent of the bounty issue - this is a pretty spot on statement.

That's very much in dispute. How is that "spot on?"
