Our 2020 1st and their 2020 2nd is one pick apart so why exactly would they do that?

Not only is he the best corner in the nfl
He is not, but he is top 5.

Does NO have the cap room and/or enough to accommodate the asking price?

He’s least targeted corner in nfl for multiple years now.

They could make the necessary cap room but idk if they have the capital to outbid the Eagles

He would be pretty scary in Philly. They’re in a tough spot right now given their current record and play as of late. Do they give up all of that capital and potentially still not make the playoffs?

They’re too talented, IMO, to miss out. It would be something if they did, though.

I’m fine with it. He could be the final piece to win a Super Bowl. That’s worth two picks (probably late rd at that) that may or may not work out

They can make the 4.5 mil in space needed very easily. It comes down to Arizona accepting what NO has in draft capital.

Great. The Patriots will get him for a 2020 5th round pick.

What’s his trade clause? Does he have to agree to the trade?

Look for the Saints to give up a 2nd this year and their number one for next year.
I sure as hell hope not!

You don't think PP would wanna come back to Louisiana and ball? Long term, he can get a deal wherever, but as a rental? This isn't a bidding war. The question: which team would offer the goods the Cardinals covet? New Orleans has more in the realm of trade-able assets than New England, including the O-line help AZ desperately needs. Unless NE was willing to part with a high draft pick and someone like Edeldoucheman, the Saints could offer quite the lure.
