you wasted time putting this list together
Posted on 5/3/16 at 8:39 am to lsu712
There are only about 5 players on that list who are worth a shite.

I will give ya credit for the most effort I have seen put into a meaningless post in some time.

The only former player on that list I want is Juice

Took about 5 minutes to put together. I guess my point is this:
We traded away a 1st and 2nd round pick for Mark Ingram. Hill and Blue and possibly Ware could easily match Ingrams production. Choose Vacarro over Reid. We trade up for CB's or LB's when LSU has the same caliber or better that could fall into our lap. Traded up for Cooks and gave away a 1st and 3rd round pick . When we could have had Jarvis and Trai with those. Just a lot of moves that don't work out that the saint could address an hour from home.

U think Blue could match Ingram? Geez.

Don't give a frick.
Just came to post that we did get a first rounder back to draft Ingram with. We only gave up a second. The firsts were a wash.
Also did you not put Honey Badger on there? He's better than a majority of these scrubs.

This one bothers me the most....Why take a short stubby safety who sucks in coverage over a taller more athletic play maker who doesn't suck in coverage. But the saints do not draft LSU players and they have the best scoop available.

Has Reid been setting the world on fire?
I don't think so.

Would have loved to have Hill and Landry...Beckham was untouchable for us.

Hmmm whats Vaccaro done lately

Neither is a pro bowler at this point, and neither is doing poorly.
Their stats are about where they should be for a starting FS (Reid) and SS (Vaccaro). At that point we needed a SS more. If Byrd worked out better this wouldn't even be a discussion.

What about the time we traded up for Al Woods? That worked out well.
If you want to say that the team's drafting has been sub par the last 5 years, join the club. If you want to say they should have drafted LSU players because LSU, locality should only be used as a tie breaker between genuinely equivalent prospects. Other than that it shouldn't even be a consideration.
