I'm pumped about the OL kid-Ramwhatever. He could be special.

We hit every positional target we had except QB (which most will be happy about) and did so with incredible value at each pick.
It was a homerun draft. Now they just have to prove that on the field.

And let's not forget we have new position coaches. It's possible our draft picks might get developed.

Should the Saints consider drafting S Eddie Jackson (Bama) in the 6th?

Has Dwight Freeney and Mario Williams signed with anyone yet?

No
Freeney is 37 while Williams is only 32

Williams would be a good one year stopgap signing and you use first in 18 on DE

The Saints fricked up again passing on Derek Barnett at #11

We don't need to add any edge help

So overlooked. Especially excited to see what Nolan can do with the LBs, even though we lack high end talent outside of Ellerber (who can't stay healthy).
Also curious to see what we do with the Dline.

As much as I personally wanted Barnett, you cannot pass on Lattimore there. Bigger need and bigger talent.

Isaiah Mckenzie in the 6th if he is there, doubtful he will be but would be a good pick.

Craig Robertson and Ellerbeast (if healthy) are two outstanding OLBs. We aren't as bad off there as some try to make it.
Klein can and will be a solid starter for us

Did we lose our 7th round pick?
Posted on 4/29/17 at 2:13 pm to BUGAtGOAT
Oh I'm very high on Robertson. But while he's good he isn't an impact playmaker that can change the D. Ellerbe is (if just barely).
We definitely have some talent, it just isn't much in the way of impact players.
