Former CFL all-star DB Delvin Breaux returning to Ticats

Defensive back Delvin Breaux signing with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats is a done deal, per sources.

The Toronto Argonauts were also in the mix for Breaux’s services.

Breaux had two stellar seasons in Hamilton, including an all-star campaign in 2014, that led to him signing with New Orleans in 2015. He played all 16 games in his first NFL season, bursting on the scene and establishing himself as one of the top cover men in the league. In 2016 he only played in six games as injuries cost him game time. Over 22 NFL games, Breaux has 66 tackles, 2o passes defended and three interceptions.

You'd think we'd bring him back instead of fricking Devante Harris.

I appreciated his time here, but he was still a work in progress. Injuries killed all of that.

Ok, really an inarguable point to say he still could have gotten better but he was still playing at a near pro bowl level that year.

Sources say Delvin Breaux had trouble getting his spine medically cleared by other teams in the NFL.

While that's unfortunate and with good reason, I'm glad he was able to make a roster for 3 years and fulfill a dream as well.

Financially, he's comfortable with the 2mil he made over that time. Not including his CFL income.

Unfortunately for him, bridges were burnt last year with us it seems.

If he put some up.. 2 mil is not that much money to last him for a lifetime

Depends on how he lives. Like a regular person, that's more than enough. Like I said it's still not including other income like endorsements and CFL contracts.

Like how AQM is on Instagram? Nope.

I think the whiff on Diggs was 10x worse than that. At least Breaux was having to look back, the play was right in front of Williams

This seems like a no brainer, Gayle should intervene. Let em know she’s watching.

Any other pearls you want to share with us Captain Obvious.

Fwiw--Williams made more plays last year than Breaux did the whole time he was here so gfy
