They have gotten phenomenal pressure on the qb

More importantly, they've gotten pressure primarily with a 4 man rush. No more sending the house and leaving the secondary exposed.

Agreed. While playing in prime time is awesome, I always hate waiting the extra day to see them play.

Hey, here's a thought. Maybe those offenses are ranked so low, Because they played against our Defense.

Atlanta goes from #9 in yards to #8; #12 in points to #7

Tampa Bay stays at #31 for both

Arizona goes from #23 in yards to #11; #24 in points to #12

Just because I know it'll come up: Well tampa bay stays the same, we couldn't even do well against a #31 offense, blah blah.

Well tampa-fricking-bay's offense played against:
Jets: #4 defense
Saints: #5 defense
Patriots: #10 defense

I look at it this way. Atlanta has legit receivers and a legit RB. Tampa has a legit RB. Zona has legit receivers and a legit RB. We've held our own. We didn't exactly play the cream of the crop in going 0fer to start the season last year.

I look at it this way. Atlanta has one legit receiver, one injured receiver, an old TE and an injured and out RB. Oh, a decimated O-Line too.

They do now. Aside from White, they were pretty healthy in week 1.

And I wont argue their line is not what it used to be. But thankfully, our success and getting pressure on the QB was not limited to ATL.

(It feels really good to type that.)

1. Seahawks

4. Jets

Seahawks - #24,#27,#31
Texans - #11,#29,#30
Raiders - #13, #32, play #1 Denver tonight
Jets - #14,#17,#31

Jets are the only team to play 2 top 20 offenses so far.

Keep in mind that LAST year's D made bad offenses look like world beaters. I was hoping for a top-20 defense. Top-5 is just crazy.

[b]League Leaders - Defense
Total Defense (YPG) Complete List
1. Seattle Seahawks 241.7
2. Houston Texans 249.0
3. Oakland Raiders 261.0
4. New York Jets 270.0
5. New Orleans Saints 295.7

+ IDGAF how many yards we give up. This D has allowed 5 TD's thru 3 games. And 2 of those came on extremely short fields off Saints turnovers. So legitimate 7-10 ppg allowed would rank us #1

4 TDs

That other one was a Brees pick 6.

go away.
The facts are that no matter where the Defense ends up in the coming weeks - they're playing well enough to win games. We didn't have a top 10 defense when we won the Super Bowl, we don't need one to do it again. League is fricked.

Cmon blues. Tony G is still top 2-3 TE in the leauge.

Ryan, though we hate to admit it, is a top 5-8 QB

Jackson wasn't hurt when they played us, and their Oline was as good as it will be this season when they played us
