If the Saints and Moore come to an agreement in the next couple days are they allowed to announce anything before the Super Bowl?

Milroe is no where near hurts. Qb skills nor football iq.

Hurts has proven to be much better than expected

But, they compare reasonably well as draft prospects.

That contract was a bargain too.

Right now (at least as of last year) RBs are undervalued. An elite RB might be the best money spent.

They had top flight offenses the last two years and were just in the SB at 14-3. Barkley had a career year in the offense. Do the math

Am I the only one who isn’t thrilled about Moore?
There is something about his demeanor that rubs me the wrong way.
Also, it doesn’t seem he can lead a group of grown men.

Fuk it. At this point let's go Deon then trade up for his son.
It's the splash hire the Saints need.
For better or worse we need this now!

Hurts was 2nd to Joe Burrow in the Heisman voting. He was benched in the National Championship game, but he led the team to a National Championship.

Milroe was 2nd team SEC.

Hurts is a better athlete, but he’s not in the same stratosphere as Hurts as a QB. He’s more comparable to Anthony Richardson.

He’s exactly what Taysom is: a good athlete who happened to play QB in college. You convince him to play that utility role and Milroe has some value. But, if he goes the Tim Tebow route then he isn’t worth shite.

Nobody is spending a high first rounder on a utility player.

He would not be my first choice with better candidates

But given what's available i don't think he is any worse than the others.

I just like the idea of someone that can run a functional offense.

Second interview with Moore is tonight per Underhill. Saints brass flew up to Philadelphia this afternoon.

Milroe will not sacrifice himself as TH has done... game after game. I just don't see him being that type of guy.

Coming into the league, Hurts wasn’t viewed as a great passer.

That’s why he went late in the 2nd.

Taysom cannot make a 1/2 season as a teams top RB. He just gets hurt to much.

BYU injuries that required surgery:

quote:

Both Hill’s collegiate and professional career have been riddled with injuries. Cougar fans will remember that he endured four season-ending injuries during his time at BYU. In 2012 it was a torn lateral collateral ligament (LCL). In 2014 he sustained a fractured leg coupled with torn ankle ligaments. In 2015 Hill suffered a Lisfranc fracture in the first game of the year against Nebraska.

You can add in another Lisfranc fracture & now an ACL tear. Hill will be 35 by the time the 2025 season starts.

LANK doesn't have the heart nor the desire to do what Taysom does.

Guessing you’re under 30. Read up on the Ditka/Ricky Williams season. That’s what you’re proposing.
