It's pretty safe to say that several quarterbacks could be shuffled around to either win or lose a Superbowl, but nobody can deny the greatness of Montana or Aikman.
It does suck that Bert Jones played for the Colts and Archie played for the Saints, but then again, how cool would the Mannings be if they were raised in Oakland.
(not f'n very)

The Patriots had the first pick in '71 and took Plunkett. NO then took Archie.
IIRC The Colts made the playoffs at least once with Bert Jones. Those Colt teams were nowhere near as bad as the Saints.

As you know, the Stanford man went on to 'greatness' when he ended up in Oakland, though Marcus Allen had more to do with victory over the Skins.
Bert was just an arbitrary plea for agreement since he went to LSU but never made it to the Superbowl, while David Woodley did.

Yeah, wtf. I used to sneak out of church early to watch kickoff on our shitty little portable tv when the Billy Jos were at the helm. All Saints fans prior to 2006 are very loyal

Hold up, people actually believe Brees is the best QB in the NFL?
Posted on 9/22/09 at 12:26 am to hendersonshands
Ok. I guess I'm the biggest Saints fan on here because I liked them when Ken Stabler was the quarterback.
OK, saints fans without f'n google name the best linebacking corps ever....

Rickey Jackson, Sam Mills, Vaughn Johnson, Pat Swilling
They're before my time really, in terms of me remembering football but every Saints fan should know that.

You're 27. Seems like you came in later as far as being a Saints' fan unless you just chose to list examples later on in your life. If you said Dalton was your hero growing up or Eric Martin it would've seemed like you were a life long Saintard.

You may be taking all this just a bit too seriously...

Can we please settle this now.
Rooting for the Saints through thick and thin makes you a Saints fan.
Starting five threads a day insisting that Drew Brees is the greatest QB in the NFL and is already a 1st ballot HOFer makes you a Saintard.
2 different things.
