Everyone knew last year that the players hated Grantham and there were multiple out loud comments from players after he was let go, which you don't really see with this franchise often.

Grantham was total garbage and the worst hire allen made only because they were buddies

I think he mentioned something about him on his own podcast. Basically just calling him a guy
Or it could have been just a regular interview but you just got the sense he didn't respect him.
The whole making a phone call and then the next day he was gone is a new tidbit though

Would have called either Mickey or Ireland I assume. Hell he knows Gayle fairly well too lol

It most likely was Gayle. It was widely reported that Gayle went around Loomis to get feedback from some of the players about the coaching staff before putting her foot down and forcing Loomis to fire DA. Grantham was moved from the D-line to an advisory role a few days after DA was fired

This is a head scratcher because Todd Grantham had been a very good and respected line coach until his stop in New Orleans.
But it was no secret Jordan didn’t like his style and vocalized how the wrong coach could in fact hurt players development.

It was before us. He has been falling out of favor since his stop with the Gators. He was basically "demoted" when he went to Alabama before Allen saved him. We'll see if he turns it around at Ok State, but it's crazy he got that job.

Man that dude must have been total trash. Cam Jordan has to be nicest, easy going team first guy, well if he isn’t he is near the top and for him to throw his hands up and want out it had to be bad.

I think Cam was saying he may be a good big picture DC guy but as to position specific instruction he sucked donkey balls lol
