Russell Wilson is unhappy with Seahawks and teams have called about trading for him.

Apparently Wilson is fed up with his O line. And there inability to protect him. I don’t know if we have any shot at Wilson but was just throwing this out there.
I believe he’s a little cheaper then Watson.

Damn. Deshaun Watson was a slippery slope this offseason now every QB wants out.

He would cost almost as much as watson.

But would we be getting Russell Wilson or Mr Unlimited?

If not more, no thank you!

But hey he’s not exactly the amount of Watson. At this point every cent counts for our cap space.

If we had the real estate I'd say go for it, but we don't, so...

Michael Thomas
Marcus Davenport
Andrus Peat
Cameron Jordan
Marshon Lattimore
Marcus Williams
Taysom Hill
Terron Armstead
....
I mean we have assets and draft/futures to give way.

Loomis can make it happen if we desperately need him. At that type money I would take Watson over Wilson. Younger, and has yet to hit his peak, don’t get me wrong Wilson could prob get us far and maybe a SB but how many years does he have at that level and paying that type money. A little risky.

the NFL is turning into the NBA with these player revolts now

Can’t be mad at Wilson though. Good guy who stuck around during the struggles, and made a couple SBs and won one. If he wants out he deserves to be out.

The NFL is slowly turning into the NBA. Catering to the players. Players under contract will start requesting trades to preferred destinations only.

Russell Wilson in the Saints offense would be dangerous near unstoppable. Even behind that paper thin oline, he put up crazy numbers. Imagine him behind one of the top 3 lines in the league. Not saying we could get him, but if we did, I could see the offense go from methodical and efficient to explosive and unpredictable once more.

Good fricking God I'd give up a lot for that dude. He'd put up mahomes like numbers in this system.

I’d rather have Darnold or Trubisky.

With all due respect, what have you been drinking this morning?

For some reason I get good vibes about this happening. Wilson admires Brees more than anyone and prob his best friend in the league. Wilson can come here and help fuel the legacy once started by Brees. And plus if he’s mad about O line, the saints can make those problems go away.

He just doesn’t want a black man running the offense
