How many times did he say Home Town

I bet it wasn't as many times as John Randal said "also".

When they cut over to shots of Rice and Smith, you could tell they were trying so hard not to burst out laughing.
Kinda how the other analysts on ESPN used to try to avoid busting out laughing whenever Smiff was talking?

On another note--I wish there were more Saints fans there to celebrate this moment. The presence seemed kinda weak.

Should have been a drinking game.

Every time Ricky says "hometown" you take a shot.

However, we'd all have alcohol poisoning.

Seriously... asking Rickey Jackson to do a speech is like asking your dog to create an Excel spreadsheet.

Dude was put on this earth to tackle people, not invent lasers and shite.

Spot on, Bruh... I could give a damn what he said. We all know he's not the brightest color in the crayon box, but he was a special player and deserves to be standing at that podium saying whatever the hell he wants to say.

Maybe it would've been better if Rickey didn't go in them hmmm? Maybe the hall would be better without any saints in it. Would that make you happy?

Jerry Rice is the consummate professional in every way. His dress is impeccable, he probably rehearsed the hell out of his speech to make it perfect. That's what Jerry Rice is.

The sniffling is distracting, though.

tbh, none of these guys are amazing orators. They were chose to play football, not to make speeches.

None of these speeches are/were "great".

I believe, sir, that Mr. Atkins number is retired, but he was not inducted as a Saint.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't like Jerry's speech. It is brutally obvious he is reading from a sheet of paper. It is like listening to Michelle Rodriguez act.

Jerry Rice is doing a good job with his speech.
