I also remember several years of Drew throwing 5000 yards or so and we go 7-9 because our defense could literally not stop anyone.

2014 thru 2016 the team was 7-9 because our defense gave over 6000 yds. each year.

Quickly?!

We trained there three years in a row or some bullshite because there was some deal or agreement.

Problem was our players kept getting severe soft tissue injuries and we fricking sucked those seasons.

I remember the relief when we finally said to hell with the agreement, we’re not going. I also remember Whichever team ended up taking our spot there that summer also got utterly dismantled by soft tissue injuries

I heard it was the hotel mostly. Some reports about wild parties and the girls. No one could sleep at all. Also rumored a old broad with saggy tata's kept hitting on the asst coaches.

Just looked it up. Saints finished 2013 at 11-5. Then held TC in WV from 2014-2016, finished 7-9 all 3 years. Returned to NOLA for 2017 and went 11-5.

Oh shite. Didn’t even know this. At least they had the brains to move back eventually.

I have some great memories of going to Millsaps for a few days. Stayed in the same hotel as the team and would be in the same elevator with different coaches and players.

Going north for summer training a fine idea. Just not at a luxury resort.

Totally agree with you. I was just framing what you pointed out. In 2012 when the def. set the record for most yds. allowed (7042) they constantly left the offense in a hole which resulted in 19 ints. from Brees and another 7-9 record.
