Ben Johnson as OC

From a sauce I have the panthers are willing to give him whatever he wants for their HC job. Although the panthers owner is known to meddle too much in things and run coaches off.

That team has no talent and a crap owner. He should immediately decline. He’ll get a much better job. Probably a better job than with the saints as well.

Read that quick and until I got to the end thought you were talking about the Saints

I agree with you just found it comical the OP said we should hire him as OC when it’s pretty known he is going to be the hottest HC candidate this offseason

The 2 non offensive coaches in the AFC are Harbaugh and Tomlin. Each was hired at least 15 years ago.

And Harbaugh was a special teams coach most of his nfl coaching tenure. He was never the DC.

If I’m him, I’d jump to the chargers. Sunny Cali, low expectations compared to other markets, and pretty good talent at the most important positions.

Fire DA

Hire new staff

Trade for Sam Howell to compete and learn while we try to shed from Carr within 1-2 years tops.

Move Loomis further up in the organization. Promote Jeff Ireland to the Loomis position. Apparently, you really can’t fire Loomis.

Fire every coach and assistant coach. Fire the trainers and medical staff. Fire everyone that directly works for the team. Goodbye field personnel who can’t give the fans solid end zones. Fire the people who wash the uniforms. All must go.

The new GM and head coach can rehire the few office people and support personnel that are hard working and competent.

Previous loyalties and malcontents need to go. Purge all the shite. No one is safe. Fire the janitors and toilet cleaners.

Remove all complacency and install quality top down. Anyone left on staff that helped character assassinate the future HOF Saints QB, goodbye.

Remove the cancer and rot. It’s long overdue.

This. And start shedding contracts. Take as big a hit next year as you can. Doesn't matter because you have zero ability to compete. Then do it again the next year.

Start with a blank slate. Not one single player on the roster is a must keep.

I'd actually pay Carr to just stay home. Seriously. The org is better with him not around even at his salary.

Quit posting. Ben Johnson will have whatever HC job he wants that is open in the nfl next year. Flores isn’t leaving his job unless it’s to be a HC. Be a bit more realistic.

This! We need to hire Ben Johnson or Bobby Slowik as the HC. We need an offensive minded HC that will try to maximize offensive talent!

The Ben Johnson topic

He could have left for a job last year. He didn’t cause he didn’t like the openings

Guys like him aren’t just looking for a job they can choose the right job. That’s why the saints are screwed.

Chargers , Bears, potential Bills, you name em all vs cap hell saints with an over the hill roster and $150M Carr. Gonna have to find a diamond in the rough

If and a big IF, the front office would commit to dumping dumb contracts building for the future, keeping DA for next season and basically tanking, building attractive assets might be the best option

I mean you gotta start somewhere. At certain point you need to clean up the mess. We continued to push debt forward every year- its time to pay up. How long that will take? Who knows.
