Saints have an elite defense. That right there puts you at least in line for a potential wildcard. If the offense can get anything going this team can be good

Lot of people around the NFL know the Saints have a great defense....Offensively lets see what improvements happen. O-line does not get fixed, and we will start losing games....

If we start the season 2-0 either of the last 2 seasons we make the playoffs so you can’t take any win for granted in the NFL. Yes, there are things that need to improve but so far, despite the offense sucking, they have actually made plays when it mattered the past 2 weeks.

I was going to say something similar but you stated it pretty good.
If you're able to win in spite of having major issues it tells you the team is resilient.

Defense pretty good. Offense is hit or miss. QB, oline and playing calling are lacking but can be fixed. Still better to be 2-0 no matter how you get it.

I guess it's a question of expectations.
If you expected 7-9 wins, you are probably happy with what you've seen on defense, and have hope the offense will gel over time giving a legitimate chance to beat your expectations.
If you are Super Bowl or bust...yeah, that's not happening.
