I would love to have Washington or Mayer. Consistent and can get first downs.

I know Mayer was the best TE (not named Brock Bowers) in college football last year, but I can't get past his just average athleticism and measurables. Runs a 4.7 in the 40. Jimmy Graham ran 4.56. Kittle ran 4.52. Kelce 4.61. And those guys were drafted in the 3rd round or later. If you're drafting a TE in the 1st round, you should expect him to become a star. I'd roll the dice on Washington's more elite traits.

I thought about adding Isaiah Foskey to my "reaches" list, but even for the Saints he seems too much of a reach at pick 29. Most mocks I've seen have him going late 2nd or 3rd round. Wouldn't be surprised if we took him at 40, though. He definitely fits the Saints DE profile.

I've seen several mocks with Will McDonald as the Saints pick. If he picks up 10-15 lbs, he'd be close to what the Saints like at edge.

If any of OTs Wright, Jones, or Harrison is available I’d like to take them. All elite pass blockers. I’m not sure Penning is a sure fire OT, he’s looked bad in pass protection at times, but I think he’s got 1st team all pro potential at OG.

If all them are taken, I’d take best DT available and draft OG Torrence / Mauk at 40.

Bumped just to point out I nailed the pick weeks ago with the very first player I listed. Bresee is not sexy but a great fit, need, value, and scheme. Hell step right in and make a difference for us this season
