RB What do we do?

Kamara is at the least likely to be suspended ( I would imagine minimum 6 games) and more realistically he has played his last game for the Saints.
Ingram is well, Ingram and he won't be back.
David Johnson is a FA and likely not worth re-signing.
Dwayne Washington ?
Eno Benjamin ?
The Saints will have to draft at least one RB maybe two. What round do you start look at RBs?
Any realistic FA's we could add that could be a feature back?

Rounds 3-5 are where the best RBs will be drafted.

Suspended? Probably. Last game as a Saints? Doubtful. Even if you cut him, the cap hit would be horrendous (same of you trade him).

Not likely but what if he goes to jail for a year or two?
I'm not sure but it seems like there is some provision for the Saints to get out from under his contract. Either way his contract will be restructured as well, they're likely waiting on the hearing coming up next month.

I really like UCLAs Zach Charbonnet and if we miss out on him Kendre Miller from TCU. Both seem like guys that can wear a defense down. If Kamara does return to the Saints they would compliment him very well.
Have no idea where these two would go in the draft but I expect once RBs start coming off the board they won't last long.

Lots and lots of UDFA's. Grab several AK clones and hope you find one. And please grab a sledge hammer of a back. They do come in handy Saints or you can just keep running 203 pound backs up the middle late in games

Won’t happen. IMO, worst case for Kamara is some sort of probation. As bad as that fight was/looked, he was not any of the guys hitting/kicking the man when he was on the ground. He won’t see jail time.
But, for the sake of discussion; if he goes to jail he gets put on the commissioner exempt list and his contract is paused. Salary is deferred until he’s back off the list and eligible to return. I believe bonus money still continues as scheduled unless he’s cut from the team, or the team is able to recover some of the funds

I like achane from A&M. Tyjae spears from Tulane. Tank bigsby from auburn is a stud also.

Thanks. Yea I seriously doubt he does any jail time. Hopefully this was just a one off and he is more careful of the friends he's around. When you're in the spotlight you need friends the help keep you out of situations like this and not ones that get you into them.

There are a lot of good running backs in this draft.
That being said, it would not surprise me if we just stuck with Eno and signed David Johnson or Dwayne Washington and signed some Weber State running back to the practice squad.

One of the friends with him was his business manager. And thankfully (for AK's sake) he was with him, because it appears he was the one that pushed AK away and went to work on the guy with the other 2 people. Had he not been with him, I have no doubt in my mind AK would have been one of the guys putting in work while the victim was unconscious.

How so? (I generally don't know much about his game other than what's written on draft sites)

What is Achane bringing to the RB room? And how will that fit what the Saints do with AK or should be doing with AK. Can Achane carry the load while Kamara is suspended?

Even if he goes to jail, any signing bonus $ that has been spread out, all comes back to haunt you immedialtely. Same if you cut or trade him. Likelihood of him doing time is very remote. Likelihood of him missing a good bit of the season is probable. But, if he's just suspended by the league, or team, the cap money is still spread out.

If I could describe his game in one word it would be explosive.
He's speedy and if there's a hole, Achane will rack up yards in no time. If you give him the ball with a 3rd and short, he'll get the first.
He's great at kick returns aswell

You have to prep as if Kamara is not going to be there for at least 4 games I would assume, and not telling what time of the season that will fall in.
-Eno Benjamin seemed to have a little juice in limited time last year. Still on the right side of 30.
-Mark Ingram needs to go as you mentioned, TYFYS
-David Johnson should be brought back to camp to see if he can fill that veteran role
-Dewayne Washington has yet to provide anything of substance on offense, only way he should stick is if special teams needs him.
