He wants to stay here. I am sure Mickey can find a way unless Miami starts throwing Watson money at him.

Armstead should go to Bengals. Saints need to replace him in 1st rd.

As a semi-bengals fan now.. that would be cool

Bengals signed La’el Collins, Ted Karras and Alex Cappa so I think they might be done in the OL department. Maybe they draft a rookie somewhere too but that’s 3 free agents already that they badly needed. It’s us or Miami or Chicago for Armstead I would think. Hope he stays home with us though.

If he wants to come back his contact should be based off how many games he actually plays. You can be the greatest player in nfl history but if you aren’t available but half the time then your contract should reflect that

We can still do that while Armstead is on the team. Let’s be honest he’ll miss games anyway so if we went OL the guy would still be playing

I'm gonna jump off a fricking bridge if we draft another OL in the first round

If we draft a tackle, I am 100% fine with this. We just need to sneak into the Saints warroom and remove all the Centers off the board.

I wish Trevor Penning was still going to be on the board at 18

That's fair, I could probably live with a tackle. It's just the interior.

IMO, you should only draft one of the 4 franchise positions in the first round: OT, CB, QB or DE. If it is any other position, they should be fricking elite. I didn't mind the Turner pick at all, but the Ruiz pick was a fricking abortion.

How awesome would it be if the Saints re-sign Armstead on a cap friendly deal.

I get the sentiment, but go back to that first Carolina game, when the OL played unbelievably bad and lost us the game, my first thought was, "Well, looks like we will be drafting OL again next April, only I won't be sad, I'll celebrate it."

Sign Armstead. Draft an OT in the first rd. and a WR in the second. The draft is heavy on OT talent and loaded with WR talent. Build your team from the line of scrimmage.

These fricking reporters COULD have a clue, but most of them don't.

As for Armstead, I'm still torn. I'd love to see him back on a deal heavily tied to games played bonuses, but I think he wouldn't accept a deal like that with other offers on the table.

As much as people give Peat shite for missing time, he has missed so much more.

I actually would love the Linderbaum kid to come in and play center, and trade off McCoy and Ruiz for a Guard lol.

He sucked at LT so they moved him to RT and he sucked worse but lets give up a top center in the league

Why would you want to move McCoy?
